mech troubles!!!

i have a 85 250sx trike and the other day the kick starter locked up just froze. took the right side case off disassembled the kick assy and nothing there was nothing out of place , broke nothing. so checked the valves and piston were moving and through the valve covers everything looks good. any ideas

Pull the plug, spin the crank with a socket since you got the side cover off..

Also, will the trike roll or is it stuck in gear?

Get some idea where the lock up is..engine or transmission?

Start with the basics..not a lot of information here?

you mean like you pushed the kick start lever and it stuck 1/2 way down and won't move?

If you put it in gear and rock it back and forth will it turn the engine?
if you pull the plug, will it roll in gear like the engine turns?

I've heard that the electric starter gears can get chewed up and I guess there's some common parts
that interlace with the manual kick start action.
