83 ATC to QUAD conversion Question (with pic)

I found an 83 Honda 250r ATC that has been converted into a quad for sale. The guy was asking $400, and I offered him $200 and He said he'll take it! It looks good, and runs good! while I know this is a good deal here's my question. If I ride this around for a little while, clean it up a bit, is this something I can sell for more? Is there a market for these conversions? or are the tampered goods?

It really depends on the person. Some don't like them, some realize the place they hold in 3 wheeler history. Thankfully that one is a 3X4 so it will unbolt and you can put it back on 3 wheels. At $200 you can definitely make money on it. I would pick that up for $200 all day everyday. That's a real good deal. Put it back on 3 wheels and sell it with the 3X4 kit.. Or put them both on Ebay seperately.. Or keep it and ride it.
