    83/84r swing arm sprocket hub

    Hi guys,

    Can any of you tell me if the rear aluminium sprocket hub can be removed from the axle? I thought if you pressed out the four rubber mounts then warmed the aluminium slightly, the hub might press off the axle in the direction of the bearing carrier?
    I need to have the axle re-plated and obviously can't do this with the ally hub fitted.

    Answered my own question tonight, the sprocket hub does come off the axle, it just took around 10 Te of force in the press and some heat.
