Clarke Plastic Tank and Maier Plastics....Junk or a worthy options?

Thanks to the foresight of the previous owner...stock tank (major rust)
has finally had it's way and my plastics ( major cracks & sun damage)
are beyond repair. Unless I want to continue with the current Rat Rod
Look...i'll need to find replacements.

Please share your experience...THANKS!

Clarke fuel tanks
Having never seen one myself...how are they? Do they fit well and are they reliable? Is there a
Better option out there (plastic or not)?

Maier Plastics or others:
Same goes for these...never seen them in action. How are they? Do they fit well? Reliable or not?
Are there better after market options? Or....?

i also have lots of both. they look great and work great. the new maker stuff that now has the shiny finish is amazing stuff in my opinion. i have a clarke tanks as well and have never had any issues.

Depends on what you are using it on. Clarke tanks for the 84-85 Tecate are junk. They are supposedly rebuilding the mold, to make better tanks for the 84-85 Tecate.

I'm also curious about the Maier fenders too. I had an older set of rears for a 200x that were dull, and the red wasn't even close to the Honda red. The ads on Ebay say they're a match for Honda in color and finish. Is this true? Might be in the market for new 200x rears and '85 250r front fenders. Just would like to know before I buy if the finish is close to oem Honda.
