    KAWASAKI TRIPPLE need help

finaly got my kawi tripple delivered from over two years ago, havnt seen it up close till now, dotn know enough about it to spit. got dropped off a trailer thats why theres damage to the right side cases, if anyone knows what parts they are please chime in, no air box. Unkown chambers on it but they look gnarly for it, dosnt have rear shocks just drag struts. Known if its a h1 or h2 if anyone can help please do.

    the broken bits

mikuni carbs I guess thats stock on these

unknown chambers, looked all over can see any build name on them

so far right off the bat it seems all I need is just the side covers, I may be able to just patch the clutch cover for the meantime but I need the oil injection/mag cover for sure maybe even the mag itself

Early H1, but not an early tank. Seeing those pics makes me sick to my stomach. The early
H1 parts are getting tougher to find than trike parts. You could have $400 in damage or more unless you really luck out finding parts. I wish I had some H1 stuff for you, but sadly I don't. The kawi frames were known for flexing and for having bad steering geometry. You can reinforce the frames and you can get a steering damper, which is highly recommended. The brakes weren't real bad as far as being mechanical front and rear. Alot of people run 1" shorter shocks in the rear to help the steering geometry out some. I've seen some really neat modded H1 and H2 bikes. Not sure what direction you are looking to go. A later model disc front end is a bolt on. I've seen crotch rocket bike parts adopted to them as well, so as long as you don't have to have stock, the sky is the limit as far as mods. The 500 lower end is not as strong as the 750 is. The engine mounts for the 500 and 750 are the same, just in the later years they are cushioned mounts. My 750 is in a 500 frame, which was an old hot rodding trick in these bikes. You have to watch the ignitions as well. Congrats on the new toy. Sorry it arrived the way it did.

YEA veal it sucks I really like these bikes but I think I may let this one ride, I got to many other projects right now and even though I would love to keep it, its just not a realistic endeavor.
