I am wanting to change the motor in the Pauter framed bike I just picked up which currently has a 90 motor in it. Can anyone tell me which motors will swap into this frame? 110? 125?? 185?? Thanks!!

You can put a 125m motor in it too, but there are a bunch more wires for the electric start, etc. The frame is almost identical, except for the areas that house the extra electrics. Also, any Chinese pit bike motor will fit (non electric start, the starter gets in the way of the frame, at least on the one I have). The only down sides are you'll have to drill a new lower motor mount hole because the Chinese motors are based on the 70 motor, and you'll have to kick start it or get a pull start conversion kit. The pit bike motors have no head motor mounts... 2 bolts hold the whole thing in... I have one, and it scares me a little![]()
Great info! Thanks!

not being anhere, just wondering. why put a 110 in it and hop it up? if you can go bigger than 125cc with a 110, why not start a 125 to begin with?
I have decided to put a CR500 motor in it. I think that will really spice things up...... kidding......
