    High Elevation

Finally going riding after 6 months, at least. The elv is like 3500 to 4000ft. I do not have time to buy a high elevation carb kit so looking for ideas on how to adjust carb for that elevation.

ya know? I was just going to post if anyone has had luck with
the altitude compensating 'pull' knob on the 90-110 carbs.

I guess they just lean the daylights outta them but never bothered to figure it out.

Seemed to work well at Alpine Lake near Bear Valley (south of Tahoe)

They say dropping the main needle, aka raising that tiny flyacrossthedriveway
'c' clip will lean them out but by how much and in what increments, is a guess, I guess.

I got some fatter needles for my triumph when I hit Denver
so mabe high altitude stuff is more readily avail 'locally' when you get to higher elevations.

    What carb, btw?
