Your shift drum stopper is broken . Remove the clutch cover and inspect . fairly easy fix .

    x2 shortline.
silly question, now is this when running?
or engine off and rocking it back and forth while trying to shift?

I just hope 'we' don't need the special tool and take the clutch off to fix.

I've got one very similar waiting to come apart...perfect 3 day weekend and all the stores are closed.

These pix may or may not be what you're looking for.
    I've never done one either.

I have another 110 that turns into direct drive when it gets hot ,aka won't shift when running,
like a manual clutch you forget to pull in, but works fine when cold.

    ps
there are manuals for free in the world class help section btw

ok, rode my 125 for the first time today.

    hi lo is set right.
press down and it clunks into first real positive.
..but goes nowhere until I push down once more.
    first gear for sure.

Another step down and 2nd appears and 3 and 4 so that's all good.

But that was it, I didn't really want to ride it much more than that in case I can
    avoid more damage.

Heck, those clutch cover should come off to clean the
centrifugal oil filter? that I've never done. so gaskets should be readily available.

I just hope I don't need a special clutch tool if I have to replace the shift drum stopper.

This happened while it was running, it was getting hard to shift then it just got stuck in L1. when you shift it to high it just knocks like it's between gears. So i dont know,
Can you still get shift drum stoppers????
    Cheers
