    85 200x Restore... Tips

    I can Get a 85 200x for 100 buck but is in rough shap, runs good. I would like for it to look better but never really restored one. If you guys could give me any advice really appriciate it. I know it needs new fenders, where can I get some for a GOOD price? Again any comments will help.

    well does it need plastics? you can sometimes find oem plastic for saleor you can also buy meier plastic for it new. as for most of the other parts, 200x parts are fairly common and not that hard to find. I would say go for it!!!

    Yes it needs plastic its crack/broken all over. Anyone else got some good tips to really transform a 200x.

    Take your time on it. Keep a close eye on ebay, you can really luck up and get parts cheap sometimes. For plastics look for a good used set or got with new maiers. The best thing about first gen X's is parts availability, they are everywhere. Post up an add in the classifieds here too.
