ATV Rodeo at Coshocton County Fair

Coshocton County Fair is having a ATV rodeo Oct. 3rd. Registration is at 5:30. Event starts at 7:00. There is going to be 8 classes with a $375 purse in every class. Cash awards to 1st-5th place per class. Participants must pay $8 fair admission and $20 entry fee per class. 1st class-0-50cc 7years and under. 2nd class-0-90cc no age limit. 3rd class-0-125cc no age limit. 4th class 0-400cc sport 3 and 4wheeler no age limit. 5th class open sport 3 and 4wheeler. 6th class open utility 4wheeler any cc no age limit. 7th class ladies ''run what you brung''. 8th class side x side open. Are there trophy's??.....I got some room on my shelf.. Wonder if they will let me run the 150 nitro in the 125cc class? Maybe I will hit the motor with a grinder. Lookout you 9 and 10 year olds!! Now I have someone to race with....... I will call ya....

Yea im pumped! This is as close to racing as i can get! I hope to have my Tacate done by then. Cylinder is bored. Its getting ported and nikasil as we speak! Cant wait to trash on that thing! Have to get brakes on the back of my 350X and its ready. Hopefully some of you guys can make it. Id like to have a few trike guys there.

What do they do at their vesion of an ATV rodeo? Is it like timed barrel racing, or do they run like a utility type obstacle course? Can 3 wheelers run in the 125 class, or are they restricted to the sport class? Is there a contact number to answer questions if you aren't sure?

They are having a timed barrel race, pole bending and a dash for cash. The dash for cash is 4 barrels set up with 2 people at a time. You start at the first barrel go around the next and back. First back wins and continues on. Its kind of like a drag race with 1 turn in it. Its a winner take all event. 3wheelers are allowed in all classes. Thanks Kyle. Im thinking about it, if I can have the Ranger back on the road by then. Both 125's will fit in there. Can't afford to drive teh OTC truck down twice in the same week! The Suzuki is slower than molasses and corners like a bicycle with training wheels but I can't imagine a large turnout of 125s for that class. I've seen the barrel racing stuff on youtube. What is "pole bending"?
