Which Honda did I just buy?

    Hey guys,
I just bought a Honda 3-wheeler and need help id'ing it. The vin is
JH3TB0557EC339231. That decodes as a 1984 200 Es big red. The tag on the neck has been painted over, but looks like it says 200es(it definately says 200). But, i don't have suspension in the front or rear. It is shaft drive, electric start with recoil backup, and dual range transmission with reverse. Does that sound like an84 big red?
    Thanks
PS sorry no pics. I'll post some in a few days.

Yes,84 RED. Someone must have put 82-3 ATC 200 forks on the front.

Yup, any 200 that's a shafty is bound to be an ES. Sounds to me that it's an 84 with earlier forks.

I thought 84 big reds were chain drive and 85 to 87s were shaft drive

Perry, ES stands for electric and shaft.

kevo, Chazz is probably right with his assumption.

Alright, the 85+ Big Red is a totally different trike, rear suspension, kick starter, all up five speed, bigger, just a bonafide worker. Plus an added 50cc and a new engine design.

84 is the ONLY year the 200 was EVER shaft drive, the 84 is the king of the 200 utility class, reverse, hi/lo, shaft drive, electric start with pull rope backup.
