Has anyone seen this KTM three wheeler? Looks pretty tight!!! It reminds me of a Tri-Z.

He's a member here. Beautiful bike. Great work! There's a thread about it here.

A Tri-Z with a KTM motor. Very nice work. I'm not much of a 2 stroke person but...I LIKE IT!!

Why is this guy call it a ktm? It's just a orange tri z!!! Haha!
It's owned by El CaMexican on here if I'm thinking right, he was debating actually putting a KTM engine in it. I say that if people put Blasturd engines in a 200X, and everybody's fine with it, nobody has a right to give this thing any crap.
This is my trike. There are many like it but this one is mine. My trike is my best friend, and it is my life. I must master it as I must master myself. My trike without me is useless. Without my trike, I am useless. I must ride my trike true. My trike and I know that what counts is not the amount of miles we ride, but the time we ride together. My trike is human in it's own ways, therefore I will learn it as my brother. I will learn it's weaknesses, it's strengths, it's parts, and it's soul.

Hi All,
That thing is mine and to clear the air, YES I am a nice guy, and my Mom will back me up on that, oh yea, and it is a 1985-1/2 Tri-Z 250 and all Yamaha symbols and names (I left a few 38W's on it) were removed including the clutch cover and the paint was meant to mimic a modern KTM engine. The only KTM parts on it are the front brake master assy and a bunch of add-ons like handlebar ends, grips, a rear brake reservoir sock and decals. The carbon fiber is just water transfer painted plastic. The engine is fully rebuilt and warmed over pretty good and it has a Works Performance shock and rebuilt forks. In true Boy Scout tradition I did buy a full set of orange Tri-Z decals just in case, but so far aside from a few negative comments from the purists here the pseudo theme has gone over well, so for now they will stay on the shelve.
As far as wanting to put a real KTM engine in it I did contemplate doing that for a few moments, but because I suffer from a common condition known as Ihavenotwonthelotteryyetitis I would have had to cut up my prestine 300EXC to do so http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rhc4YARlyRA so that and inverted forks are pending the cure to my illne$$.
I started messing with the jets a month ago, but had to leave town until 2 days ago (see my Asian three wheeler photos posted on other threads) so I'm looking forward to getting back on that as the thing is starting to scream. When its running to my liking I'll make a video of it going through the gears in a straight line on pavment before I start bouncing the shiny frame off rocks.
Its a darn nice looking trike El Camexican, I dont care what anyone has to say negative about it.
I think pretty much all of us suffer from "Ihavenotwonthelotteryyetitis" lol!
