I would say around $6000 + Unless you have both machines in the garage.

There is no set price on these.
I know a member sold one for the 3800$ range all done up with inverts that was 2 years old. I know for a fact that they had way more into it.
It isn't just bolting a 450 motor in a Z chassis. Mucho work has to be done.

I would figure more on the 8000$ range if you cannot do the fab work yourself and want it done right, and nice..

And there is alot more to doing it right than it sounds. There is rake angles, rear shock mods that need to be done, careful placement of radiators, etc. You cut corners on these items and you will have a pile of ill handling bad performing scrap metal IMO.
Grabbing a welder and making it work does not make it right, and that is where you will spend your money at.
I am looking now to do a conversion, and with doing most of the work myself with the exception of the frame, I am staring at $5000 minimum starting with nothing at all, if all goes right.
I assume It will be more like $7000 when done.
Here is where my long useless list of stuff nobody cares about should go...

^^This might sound dumb, but if he were using a z frame why would he have to mess with the rake???

Depends on your front tripple setup!! If your using different trees the rake on the stem has to be right.

Yeah i think the setup would be the hard part. Stock tri-z with a 450 in it would be a beast.

A 450 motor will not fit in that frame without extreme mods. Thus changing the rake of the frame by modifying the cradle etc.

i dont think derrick changed his frame to much besides mounts and a few odds and ends i mean i know there was alot of fabbin but i think the basic geometry of the frame stayed the same
