    blaster motor 200x frame?

Looking at the sad remains of my bike trike and quad stash........... correction all i got left is an old rm 250 and a 200x frame gave me the itch to revive the old 200. Wish in one hand and you know the rest. I didn't give it a thought till i saw a rather rough blaster bottom end at my buddy's shop. Given my new employment at Yamaha thought it would be fitting to build a blaster powered 200X.
Has anyone done this before, since there is no top end I have no idea about tank clearance or pipe routing.
    Thanks.
By the way, 250r prices are skyrocketing right now!! wouldn't even bother with this if it didn't take $2000 to get a semi non goon beaten R or tecate.

Yeah, hard to believe prices are so high in your area. Here's a screaming sounding deal on an '86 250R in my area (wish I had the cash, I bet I could get it for 800 or 850) ;http://reno.craigslist.org/mcy/2605704925.html

IDK...seems like I'm always seeing deals like this when I'm not looking to buy...and when I am they're never around.
    Current trikes owned:

    1985 Yamaha Tri-Z 250...fully restored

    1985 Honda 250 SX...nice survivor original condition

This is my trike. There are many like it but this one is mine. My trike is my best friend, and it is my life. I must master it as I must master myself. My trike without me is useless. Without my trike, I am useless. I must ride my trike true. My trike and I know that what counts is not the amount of miles we ride, but the time we ride together. My trike is human in it's own ways, therefore I will learn it as my brother. I will learn it's weaknesses, it's strengths, it's parts, and it's soul.

I have a blaster with a 200s engine in it and its a blast for my son to ride. Granted it has an extra wheel, but it is just made from scrap parts going to waste.
