Looks like someone just pieced them together, took what little fender there was from the bike, and extended that little bit out. Look at the rear swingarm on one, looks like the axle was just slotted in, with a frontend attached to it.

Can't actually see where the fabrication, if any, would have been done, so you can't really asses the quality, but if they were solid they'd be a neat little trike to have! Remove that rack type thing on the backs though, and reinforce it a bit.
This is my trike. There are many like it but this one is mine. My trike is my best friend, and it is my life. I must master it as I must master myself. My trike without me is useless. Without my trike, I am useless. I must ride my trike true. My trike and I know that what counts is not the amount of miles we ride, but the time we ride together. My trike is human in it's own ways, therefore I will learn it as my brother. I will learn it's weaknesses, it's strengths, it's parts, and it's soul.

I may be wrong but I don't think I am. This guy is right up the road from me and always has ratted out 3 wheelers listed at 3x what they're worth. I was considering approaching him to make a serious offer but then someone steered me straight. So instead of buying a 185 that didn't run and had busted plastics for $600-I got a running diamond in the rough(does need new plastic though) for $450.

UPDATE-I stand corrected-this guy is stand up. I just bought a 1978 KLT 200 off of him. The other bikes were one offs built by a father and son. They were sold yesterday and I met the man tonight. I didn't even realize those were his too. Anyway-I was wrong!-Different person and a good guy. WOW-been on here 2 weeks and I own 3 3 wheelers-this is going to get expensive if I don't stop!

Hang onto that KLT 200, they're strong, reliable machines. Just wish they were made with suspension...

Yeah I'm real pleased with it. Now I've got a shot at another clean KLT. From researching them I'd say I would love to find a 160 but seeing how none of these machines have been made for a long time-I'll take what I can get. I think I scored getting the 200, but definitely a bumpy ride.
