hey guys there are a few tri-z for sale in the area. I used to have a honda 70 atc when i was a boy and that was the last atc ive had. its time to get another one and there are a few tri-z in the area for sale. so i was just curious how you tell the difference between the two and what are the major differences?

The diferrences- color 85.5 is black and red, black rear plastics, black headlight, red seat, red headlight guard, and red frame. 85- yellow and black, yellow rear plastics, yellow headlight shell, black headlight guard, black seat.
As in the motor suspension I really have no clue. Somebody else will chime in. Buy a z, I just got a 85.5 and LOVE IT.

Headlight guard on both was black, both have 5 speeds. Rim, seat, frame and plastic colors where the only differences I know of.

The 86 has a 6 speed trans, different forks, coolant jug mounted on the left side and came in red and white only.
