i need a rear axle for a 1982 250r. i was wondering if any other year 250r axle would fit? the only stipulation i have is that there needs to be 24 hub splines for it to still work with my durablue hubs.. please can someone offer me some insight on this question and also if someone has one for sale that would work for me i would be interested in purchasing it.. thanks alot..

The 83-85 200x axle bolts right in but you will have to use the 200x rear sprocket set up or a 81 250r will also work if you space the alxe nuts 3/8" to compensate for the 81 drum brakes compaired to your disk brakes on the 82.
