Havnt saw these on many others curious as to if they were original or any info on them.

Back in the day, my bud had them on his 185s. They are just to lengthen the wheelbase a little bit. But does change the handling characteristics a bit too.

Ya I have not seen many with em. Are they worth leaving on....or something I should remove?
All I can say is its up to you. Try it with them on, then take em off and see which way you like better. They will help you a little bit if you like to play on hills.

Ok ya that makes sense it climbs hills well...sure they arent making a huge difference but even if they help a little....
So Honda just put em on a handful of models I'm assuming? Using them on trikes with racks would make sense maybe but this one didnt have them before I got it.
The purpose of the fork extensions was to move the front tire away from the fender. Without them, when mud balls up on the front tire on some trikes and it will hang on the fender and stop the front wheel from turning; and then you loose what little turning ability you had in the mud. Those extensions keep the tire far enough from the fender to prevent this.
