I would have flipped the R around and leaned them ontop of the cab- with a folded up towel or something between the skidplate and the cab so it doesn't dent/scratch it too badly. Then stack the R ontop of the 4 wheeled contraption.

I can't believe you guys get more than 5 miles down the road before you get pulled over..that's a bloody menace!!!

Shame what is going on with this world anymore..stupidity is the new cool!

It's a shame the world is becoming such pussies, if they were tied down tight they will go no where.

Relax a bit man, I understand your concern, but just because something looks dangerous, it doesn't necessarily mean that it is... take for example those ATC things they used to make and some people didn't ride them properly, and well we all know the rest of that story... Same thing with securing a load, some do it correctly, some don't the load itself staying secure has little to do with the "designed position" of the item in question and everything to do with the individual(s) securing it... Besides that, it is after all a Ford Ranger and with 800 or so pounds in the back its not going to hit Mach 1 any time soon...

That being said, I would of let the quad rest the front wheels on the cab and put the R on top of it doggie style If I had to get that load on such a small truck.

Huffie, I hear what you're saying but just a question..you willing to bet your or your family's life that the guy you're following with a rig loaded like that 'did it right'??

    I'm not!!

If your asking if I would change lanes, give a little extra space or get around it as soon as possible? Then I would have to answer yes... (meaning no I wouldn't take that bet)
