question for guys running inverts on 250r with headlight

I have a set of inverts that Jason hall modified and I mocked them up. I want to run a headlight and noticed that the headlight straps are short by a half an inch. just seeing what you guys have done to make it work. Worst case I will just figure something out but wanted to see if anyone had an idea about it first.

    any help is always great

    Thanks
    Tyler

I'm running KTM 85SX inverted forks, and I made a set rubber extensions for each stock headlight strap. I've often wondered what others are doing about this also. I figured stretching the stock straps beyond the limits they were designed for would lead to premature failure.

Yea, I was thinking rubber extensions. I too was concerned with over stretching the stock straps and breaking if I could get them to stretch enough to work.

Based on a TPC photo I saw. I went out and found one on ebay by UFO (acerbis and others make them as well) that I put on my "ridiculous" three wheeler Might work for you and I think they come in a few colors. They were a little loose on standard forks, but I bet they would fit great on inverts.
