Well here I go again I blew my Honda 185s top end but I think Im just going to rebuild the whole trike here is what I am starting with. I will also post a walkaround video.
If anyone has any helpful hints before I get started please let me know.

ok I hope I am doing this right but this is what I have done so far...
Motor still wont budge i must have missed a bolt somewhere.....

few things i remember correctly.the following need to be unbolted
exhaust header and silencer
motor mounts:top of engine,front of engine,bottom rear mount,mid rear mount
shifter
loosen chain tensioners and move axle forward
electrical
carb.

4 Wheels? Huh?
Your timing chain sprocket looks screwed..looks like your timing chain was slapping around then jumped. Judging by the knock marks in the top of the piston the valve timing went off..
The knocking sound was the piston hitting the valve..look closer!!
The chain rub marks on the inside of the engine cover is the least of your problems.
Change your oil once in a while..look at the sludge in your engine!!
Junk engine!!!
