Is he still making the bushings for the swing arms or is anyone else making the type he was making?
Thanks

Have not seen or heard of him for a while. I still have bushings made by him and they work amazingly well for me.
I suggest you do everything possible to find him. Try e-bay as well.

I haven't seen him around for a couple years. I was in the process of reproducing them, but my old lathe just doesn't hold the tolerances required to do it. I got a quote from a CNC shop in town but I was gonna have to sell them for around $65-70 to make any money by the time I paid machining and material costs out. Didn't think anyone was really willing to pay that much so I kinda scrapped the idea.
Jim has gone MIA about 2-3 years ago. A shame too. Nice guy and his bushings were the cats meow.
3-4 years ago X system was getting 55$ per set if I recall correctly.
So the price hike, would be well within the realm of inflation these days IMHO.
Billy, the 250R ones were not that bad for a first run. Nothing that a drill bit wouldnt correct. Tripod Troy was running them in Wells on his R.
Anyway, even at 75$ shipped, to me it is still worth buying these if they can be made.
Considering that you will have to spend 59$ for a brand name replacement kit, plus shipping, still with inferior needles that need replaced every year or so, and to replace the TRI-Z stuff with oem needles and all other needed hardware, you are looking at about $130 retail for the stock Z stuff.
I have over 3-4 years on all my Nylon set-ups..
Here is where my long useless list of stuff nobody cares about should go...

Surely someone in his area has spoken to him or knows if he's still alive or just into other things now.
