Who fixes 350x exhaust studs? Needing help.

I have a very nice 350x head that is needing the exsisting studs addressed and new studs installed. I'm looking for someone that is very knowledgeble with the 350x heads and has experience fixing this problem. I know there are some pretty skilled machinest on the boards and I'd love to hear from some that could shed some light to my problem. I have a local machine shop that could prolly drill out the old studs and set me up with some heli coils for the new studs im sure they have the equipment but there just lacking in the 350x experience. Is there anything specific that I should tell them about the 350x head that they need to know so they wouldn't destroy my nice head? Any info whould be apreciated, I'm wanting to get started on my winter project alittle early this year. Thanks!

Any machinist with half a brain would be able to figure it out. It's pretty basic. It's just a matter of having the right tool for the job.

Dirtcrasher was doing them, but I know he's been busy with his regular job lately so I don't know if he's still taking on outside work.

I know DC is the man when it comes to fixing these and he was the first guy I PM'ed but he's got alot going on now so I'm just seeing who's all out there that could help me. I'm hoping Fabios right and my local machine shop could handle it. Just wondering now as to what size of Heli Coils I need and what I can do about Stainless studs if I can find some nice metric Stainless bolts to cut down to use as studs. Should I go up any size on diameter for studs?

Thanks, I checked out there site. LOTS of hardware on there!! So I'm thinking the best stud for me to use would be the Type 316 Stainless Steal all threaded rods just cut to fit. I have one of the old studs out of the head so I'm sure I can match it up to get the same size as stock. My next issue will be figuring out about Heli Coils, damn there are alot of different choices on Heli Coils!! Tanged, untanged, different metals, heat ranges. Anybody got some good info on Heli Coils?
