    Sticky Brake issue

I have a Honda ATC 125 from 1985 and the rear brakes keep sticking when you press down on them. You have to manual pull the push rod back to get them to release. I've taken the brakes apart and cleaned everything up but the problem is the same as it was. I cant' figure out what part is sticking, any ideas?

There really isn't a whole lot to stick there. One commonly overlooked problem is the cam rod that goes through the backing plate and actuates the brake pads to press them against the drum. If that has been removed, cleaned, and greased, I'd be willing to bet your cable needs to be lubed or perhaps you need a whole new cable.

Everyone of my machines has done this at one point or another. Take the brake cam out, sand all surfaces... put some grease it there, put it back together, and good to go.
