is this atc 125m worth saving?

all the pictures can be found here: http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?s...1&l=08de97e8a7

basically the frame, front bars, and axle among other things are still in great shape, the motor and obviously tires and rims are shot. the electrical system has me confused because from everything i read these came stock with electric starts, though this did not. it apparently used to run when my friend was a kid and he said they had a pull start for it.

    my main questions are these:
    - is it worth saving? the motor still turns over and might run but i need a carb and a functioning electrical system, and the gearcase/transmission/what-have-you is also in good shape but due to rusted bolts can't be removed. which brings me to my next question...
    - how do you remove the motor if you cant get the chain off?
    - does anyone have websites where i can buy fenders, motor parts, lights, and anything else i will/ may need?
    - where can i find a wiring schematic of this motor with no electric start if one exists? or how can i hack it to make it work?
    - where can i find a replacement engine if necessary?
    - and as the title says is this worth saving or should i just sell it?
thanks for any help guys i appreciate it!

    My first thought was, NO!

I think that if you wanted a 125M, you could find one in much better shape for less than it's going to cost you to get this one back up and running IMHO
    My wheelers:

    current:
'86 Honda ATC Big Red 250es - disc brakes, lifted, spaced and 27" Super Swamper TSL / Vampire (1.22" lugs) all-around
'86 Honda ATC 250sx - Mud Bugs (1.19" lugs) in the rear
'85 Honda ATC 250sx - not currently running
'85 Honda ATC Big Red 250es - runs
'85 Honda ATC Big Red 250es - runs

not going to lie to you it is a basket case, but the rear fenders, and the front being oem and not busted all to hell are worth some coin. You can buy a whole imported chinese motor for about 250$ on ebay and I also think they come with the wiring harness. The choice is yours in the end, but it all depends on what you want to do with the machine 125m's are great little cruisers, but if you want some power and speed you're better off with a 185s, or 200s, or 250 sx ex. All of which are auto shifters. You're prolly going to need a new fuel tank for that puppy too. Ebay will be your best bet for most parts, that and on here in the classifieds. If all it is is the chain keeping the motor from coming off you can buy a atv chain breaker for less than 20$ and add a new master link to it later if it is worth saving.

I would not put your time or money into that one. Be patient and find a trike with less work involved.
