will a 200x front end fit on my 200m?
will a 200x front end fit on my 200m?
Yes, I think- measure the length of the neck on the 200M & measure the 200X neck & compare them. I'm pretty sure the inner diameters & ball bearings/races are all pretty close on the early 200cc bikes.
Oh, & where's Sublinga?
ok man reason im askin is my front fork is bent and i cant afford new ones so i found a 200x front end super cheap on ebay and dnt want to miss my chance on it...its 20 miles north of rome
They will fit. If the fork is bent on one side u could change the fork tube if the trip tree is not messed up.
Up to you though. I found it easier just to change the whole fork assembley. Itscall man.
The 86 200x actualy sits a little higher though u can still use it if you change the whole assembly. Not sure what year of x your pulling off of. The other years should be the same tube length 85 and under.
You could try straightening them. Other members, including me, have been successful. You will need a press though. Or you could use the tree method.
85' 350x (newest addition)
85' Tecate (Still dealing with electircal Issues!)
85' Tri-Z (On the back burner)
85' 200x (SOLD)
