1987 honda TRX 70, quad , it has no spark??

I am thinking about buying a mint cond of an 1986 honda TRX70 but it has no spark? any ideas what wrong with it & need to know what with issues ? I am going to buy it tomorrow

it has cdi ignition,, so it could be the stator,cdi unit, coil or the kill switch.... or a bad ground.

i am willing to bet $$$ it is the neutral start switch. i see this all the time on the TRX 70s. just take the green wire off the switch (located under the chain cover on the left side of the engine) and ground that wire to the engine case. that switch grounds to a little copper plate on the shift drum inside the case and the contact between the two fails all the time.

No, I didn't buy that quad cuz somebody bought it before i came and it was too late. it was sold for $275, quad was in mint cond. So i gotta to keep find another TRX70
