    Honda Fat Cat

Yeah im an anoying newbie, so shoot me...
I realy don't know alot about bikes, but I've been looking for a dirt bike for transport at tracks and I came across a fat cat and it looks like everything I wanted, 200cc but small enoth to throw in the back of my truck.

I found one for sale near my house for $700.00 but it needs a battery and I found them for around $129 on line, so im going to call tomrow, heres the questions,

    What should I ask?
    What should I look for?
Is there anyother types of bikes like the fat cat?

    Thanks

Hi and welcome to the board! If you look on the sites home page (link on top) there is some info. there. The fat Cat is a cool looking bike and although I have never riden one I have been told they are awesome wheelie machines. I don't know if you have seen it yet but these are the dirt bikes with atv tires. Yamaha also made their version called the Big Wheel. You can do better then $129 for a battery, Denninkirk has one for $59. http://www.denniskirk.com/jsp/produc...ain&mmyId=3982

Well, if it real is mint then don't paint it but otherwise do what you want. If you do decide to paint it take your time doing it, it will pay off in the end. How about posting some pics?
