Thanks for the welcome. My 1984 200es has her share of issues but we are slowly working them out. picked up a new dash for her and got the neutral and reverse lights working. Adjusted the front brake. Ordered and received a taillight bracket and light assy and got that working. Gotta fix the electric start (someone really did a number re-wiring this thing so I have to either push her off or short across the solenoid) and then I need a pull start assy. Went to open her up to install a new pull rope (easy fix right) and the whole assy was missing. lol. If I dont pick one up on Fleabay or CL soon I will be here looking for one in 2 months when I get access to the classifieds.

Well, since you brought up the fact that you need a recoil, someone might just swing in here and offer you one. Unfortunately, I dont have a spare........

That would be great. I have been buying and selling through the net for years. Ebay account 100% for dixietoolz, pay through paypal or USPS Money Order, I know the drill.

Well, I would suggest posting a thread in here asking if anyone has an extra they would be willing to sell, but I'm not sure that would be kosher with the site rules. Maybe you could PM a moderator and privately explain your situation and ask if it would be ok or not. I'm not a mod and certainly don't want to speak for them. Good chance you will get a better deal from a fellow 3WW member than elsewhere if the opportunity arises......
