Yeh pilot came round at the wrong time in the middle of a of a down turn in the economy and the price was high about $10k in today rate so they canned it early...
as for the long travel on the pilot ....ATV racing did that one using axis shocks heres the web-site https://www.atvracing1.com/Honda_Pilot.html it also has the CR500 top end .......my rider also has a 500 top end with just works shocks (not a atv racing engine one i built myself)..... http://www.youtube.com/user/petesatc.../0/LLhLZyXHfpM

Wow looks awesome. What a collection! Looks a lot like my stuff but u have a fat cat and some 90's. All in such great shape.

When I bought my pilot the guy actually game a 500 kit with it. Has a spacer then the cylinder the head and the piston.
How does urs run with it?? R they worth a lot?? I'm not sure if I should use it or sell it.

If your pilot came with a 500 kit and has a spacer plate its more likely that its a 465cc kit they used CR450 pistons.....Duncan used to make them, pretty good kits....not much between the 465 and 500 top ends.......

tattoo you are all over this site, this is my first time checking into the quad section. i had an odyssey 250. is the steering any better on the 350 or pilot. it seemed like my bike barely had the front end touching the ground, most the time it would push the front tires straight when i had the wheel turned. id have to let off the gass to make it turn. just courious. i always wanted a 350 to start and wound up with the 250 then gave up on odysseys altogether after driving mine.
    SIX US90s & a few aftermarket parts ;-)
