    Replacement shocks for 81-82 250r,anybody found any better than stock?

    I have an 82 250r,ride is not that great.I met someone who says a trx400ex fit his 84 250r.Will the 84 and 82 take the same shock? Any ideas?

    I seriously doubt it. The first gen R has no linkage for the rear suspension. If I'm not mistaken, every generation of R after the first has a linkage-type rear suspension.
