    Electrical problems....:(

    If its one thing ive learned....ITS TO NOT BE AN ELECTRICIAN!!! ok heres the deal

    1 i kicked my 200x over (83-85 model) about 10 times....not even a pop...so i check for spark. no spark

    2 i changed the coil (where the sparkplug boot is) no spark

    3 I changed the black box by the gas tank, No spark

    4. I changed the Cdi Thing (where the blue and green wires are) no spark

    5 i changed the stator, no spark

    Now all these parts work, i know because i started up my other 200x before i started robbing parts off it...

    the thing is....i checked for continuity in all the wires, and there is continuity, but no spark....Whats the Deal?

    Check this

    Make sure the on off switch is not shorted to ground. If it is shorted to ground even in the ON position it will not spark.

    Also check your wiring harness for any frayed/broken wires. If it grounds out on the frame you won't get spark.
    If I can't fix it, it ain't broke!!
