    new 250r

    i just picked up a 85 honda 250r. i paid 600$ for it. it needs a headlight and a rear set of plastics with a seat. other than that its a good machine. it runs great and jumps descent (better than my 350x) . if anyone knows were i can get a descent set of 85 250r rear plasctics with a seat and a headlight let me no please

    I agree with Roostmaster. While the Maier plastics color doesn't quite exactly match OEM, they are close. And the plastic design is very close. Check with the Mosh's for a nice seat cover if you still have good seat foam. Although I haven't yet required their services, I have seen lots of their work they have done for other members here and it's top-notch!

    it starts up first kick and runs like a top. the guy said he just wanted it gone. so 600 i figured it was a steal. it just needs to look a lil bit better..

    Id say that is a good score for $600. I found some plasics for an 86 that are in ok shape but want to check them over good and will do an auction style sell on these starting sometime today and will let it run for 2-3 days. Highest bidder gets them. You can Pm me or just add it to the thread so people know Im not trying to screw anyone. Also have a seat but gonna be hard to compete with the bids I got for it so far!
