86 250r fix-up

hey it me i made it back to the east coast! the best part is with a pair of 86 r.
long story short i could use a little help with parts\work

rear shock rebuild !! who

the motors are stock! only looking for full intake reed cage carb set up
( as i blow up stuff i'll upgrade don't worry (

6 pack rack

large capacity gas tank

any help whatever for these items [tank and rack don't have to be perfict] would be great

NINJA here on the boards rebuilds R shocks.. I hear he does amazing work!!! Just PM him, his prices are fair and he will or can re-valve it, re-spring it, and do the seals and nitrogen.

can i use a TRX rear shock on an 86 atcR

Yes, you can but they are not the same. If I remember correctly the atc shock has a slightly longer shaft than the trx does.

Billy posted a thread on this swap years ago. You can make them work, but you have to use the TRX linkage and bolts if memory serves correctly and something with the top frame mount needed altered.
