Lightbulb Larger rims for Moto-4? 1985

Are there any alternatives for a different sized rim(bigger) for the Moto-4 225?

    This is for a 1985. It has a 9"x9" rim with a 4 lug/125mm spacing.

I'm just looking for a better selection of tires than are available in the 9" size.

Nobody has a suggestion to replace this odd-ball rim with something cool and oversized?

I guess that's the problem with being odd-ball.

I'd say a set of conversion wheel spacers..

4/125 to 4/110 then the sky is the limit..but I've never seen spacers that size!

    Tough call..

Thanks for the replies guys. The spacing is indeed the problem. There seems to be absolutely nothing else with the 125mm spread so nobody makes spacers.

The Blaster is 110 and earlier years of the moto4 have three hole patterns.

Is it possible to drill rims with the proper spacing or is that just too hillbilly?

Yeah, I did that when I ordered a set of rims for my trike that were 4/115 by mistake. You'll need to create some kinda of template and be super accurate with the drilling or your wheel either won't fit or will shake the fillings out of your mouth at high speed!
