    Main Jet Question for '85 350x

    Question, if you upgrade to Supertrapp exhaust, with stock motor and Uni - Filter with Closed Lid, What Main jet should I go up to?

    Current Main Jet is #138

    How many discs are you running? Opening that lid or just removing the top portion of the lid (look at it, you'll see what I mean) would allow for more flow.

    I ride in wet conditions constantly.

    Depending on your altitude etc etc, you may want to try a 142 or 145 (not sure how there sized).

    It is differnt for every bike, I would try a 145, its better to be rich than lean. But the only way to know is to check the color of the plug.

    I just went through this same set up. I don't remember how many disks I have but I had to go up 3 sizes. I'm in FL so it may be different for you. If you don't already have the jets, I would get enough to start a little high and work your way down. Like ^ said, better to be rich than lean.
