    87 kxt tecate restoration

    i own this tecate 3 years now and collecting parts for a full restoration.

    well its time to star a thread with as I almost have everything.

    I cant wait for you to get rid of the pink and throw that front tire in the trash! Looks like a nice solid start, with good plastic. And you have a lot of the hard to find parts already. What silencer is that? Im looking forward to seeing more

    rear fender was from fiberglass and silencer looks to be hand made, will post more photos later

    i have one dg pipe and silencer waithing to be instaled

    Another fella is sending me a set of the handle bar clamp covers to replace the mold of the ones you loaned me a couple of years ago, when I get that project done I send you pictures thru e-mail.

    Very nice part collection! I spotted some rare stuff in there- e-brake cable, clutch cable guide, two toolboxes. I ended up using a Lakota toolbox on mine and its kinda ugly. What are the little chain guides for? Skidplate?

    in the 87 t3 chain guard there is this small chain guide that there arent in the 86 t3 model. will post photos with the different.

    i think its a hand made silencer sportvette, and i will change it as soon as i find one dg silencer.

    the axle and the bolts are plated with nikel.
