    gas cap vent hose

    hey all, I'm wondering where to route the gas cap vent hose on my 82 atc200, its got the plastic tank on it I think from a br. I'm thinkin somewhere through the
    handle bars? could I put a one way check valve on the end of the vent hose??
    any help would b great....

    Half the crew is asleep, the other half dealing with tornadoes and snow
    and the other half is dealing with wildfires and power outages.

    Mine leaks too.
    Usually the tube on dirtbikes runs down thru the center triple tree
    It's supposed to be for expansion but they do splash.
    I just put a little fuel filter inline to slow down the splashout.

    I was thinking about tying it in a loose knot.
    I also wonder why they don't make those tanks with a real vent cap?
    Prob no emission requirements like the oem folks have to do.

    Check vale sounds like the best idea.

    Drill a hole through the plastic on the handlebars and run the tube through it.
