Buy a new small end cam bushing and replace the valve cover so the top big end bushing is tight and hope for the best that its tight enough . Their should be a little play in the cam . A new cam wouldnt hurt either .

I think some place you can get bearings that go on the big end of the camshaft. I have been wondering the same thing b/c eventually there will be no good used heads left. Maybe somebody else knows more.

^^That can be done, I have seen it somewhere, I don't remember if it was on here or not. The 2nd gen 200x came like that factory I believe

^ Well worth buying. Just my set up and jig time would be hours of tramming in the journals and if there junk, what do you go off?

Hey that's pretty cool, I may look into that next time I tear into my 200x top end just for added durability. Do you not have to send him the head cover to be bored?

Yes, he needs the head half and the dowel pins.

I know a guy who was working on a roller bearing replacement for these and that's the biggest issue. If the journal's toast anyways how the hell are you going to find the centerline?
