Would anyone be interested in getting together a group buy for some full 350x plastics? Im not sure how to initiate the deal but maybe someone else could chime in on the requirements.

If there was a possible way to split it up, I am really wanting black rear fenders for a 250sx. IIRC you need at least 10 pieces and you have to pay up front.
Which plastics?
Post a pic. And when you say full set, does that mean they are making the headlight now?
I am a buying complete set SOON, I would be interested to see what you guys come up with on this. I am planning on putting white on, but might be interested in a black carbon fiber depending on price!

I dont have a pic but someone around here does. So far the rquirement is 10 orders so 10 rear fenders, fr fender, possibly headlight? Im not interested in the headlight. Ive never made any contact with maeir before
HOW COULD YOU NOT! BE INTERESTED IN A HEADLIGHT PLASTIC!!!!!!!
As far as I know they have Never been available.
I AM OFFICIALLY INTERESTED IN A FULL SET OF BLACK.
HOW MUCH???
I've always wanted to do a Black bike.

Have you seen the black carbon fiber in person? I personally prefer the regular black.
im not interested in the headlight plastic because id rather run dual round lights. ive never seen it in person but i do like the look of real carbon fiber
IMHO the Maier black Carbon Fiber looks too fake. I am a big fan of real carbon fiber, but the maier does not do it for me.
i would definitly be interested in a full set of carbon fiber plastics

what are all the requirements atc? that would be the first step for me.
I have been doing Group orders on 3 wheeler plastic with Maier for the last 5 years. I just wrapped up another T-3 order a few weeks ago.
The 10 order minimum "was" required in the past. But lately Maier will run as little as 5 complete sets in one color for one model. I will have to ask them to be sure on the 350X.
In the past, on complete sets, I have saved the members up to 20% over retail pricing. Individual pieces for the same model can be ordered at the same time, but usually have less of a discount.
Dont forget that you can get either stock Gas tank Scoops, or Super scoops in custom colors.
Now IMO, you will better off to wait to place this order until around the end of Febuary for a few reasons.
1) More people will have money due to income tax returns coming in, and will be recovered from the holiday gifts. This will also possibly allow more 350X owners to jump on board and then we can probably split up into a few different colors. Say 5 CF black sets, 5 Blue sets, 5 Yellow sets..ETC.. the more we get in a group buy, the more you generally save.
2) Also I will be running some orders of TRI-Z molds that I had Maier make also in the new year, so I will already have a large shipment coming to me anyway.
You dont have to wait, but I just would advise it. I am sure that other guys would be down for some other 350X custom colors too.
Lastly John Swhinehart seems to be making great progress on his 350X headlight molds. I would assume that some of his can be painted to match if you find a good airbrush artist.
The way these always worked in the past was to get a list going, then when everyone is ready I collect the money and place the order.
You can search my posts on here to see how some of the other orders have worked in the past.
Here are a few pics in case you wonder how the CF black looks.
