350X Front Tire? What brand AND SIZE are you running? I need to buy a new one!!

First let me say thanks for reading my question And YES I seached this site for a past post that might could have answered my question before posting this one. I have a 86 350X that needs a new front tire. I know that they came with 23.5x8-11's on them. I am wondering if a 24x9-11 will fit (and if so what exact tire are you running?) I have gone with Swamp Fox on the rear, 24x11-12 and changed my front sprocket to an 11 tooth so I'm good there. I will be doing more trail ridding over rocks, ruts etc so I wanted to change from the 20" flat rear tires that were good for sliding. Will a 24x9-11 fit without rubbing my forks? What do you all suggest? Im not all that worried about price, I want to do this once and do it right. I really prefer a tough tire, not just a 2 ply if its possible. Thanks Again Everyone!!!

Actually, the stock size was 24x8x11. And I have a new trail hawk for sale. Its a 24x8x11, its a 4 ply. $150 plus shipping. If you want a pic of one let me know, but you can look them up, they just aren't available.

If your running swamp foxs on the rear then why not go with a swamp fox up front too. They make a 24x8x11 so you wouldn't have to worry about it being to wide. I have swamp foxs on my Foreman and they seem to be a desent tire. Do you have any pictures of your 350x? I'd like to see how it looks with alittle taller wheels and tires.

I run a 23x8x11 goodyear tracker, OE size for the front of the old TRX300. Works great for me, scored it for $29 shipped from ebay last year!

No stock is 23.5x8-11

My original front tire on my 85 came with 24x8x11. I could be wrong about the 86. So I have always kept a 24 inch on the front. The bigger tire helps in the rocky rough terrain.

Thanks for the feed back guys. Swamp Thang, I had thought of running a Swamp Fox on the front to keep them matching, I just may do it. I havent taken pics of it with the Swamp Foxs on the back but as soon as I do I will post them.....
