Clutch adjustment screw on ATC110 won't turn

anyone know what could cause this or do I need to pull the side cover off and inspect? I loosen the locknut and the adjuster screw will not turn either way.

Not that it matters much but that screw is reverse thread.
so when you turn it 'out' ccw. it presses ONto the clutch parts.
Back off a 1/4 turn and there's your free play.

    It's real simple.
Threads in the case may be peeling away or something inside is
    jamming .

That cover comes off as a maintenance topic so the gaskets are avail everywhere cheap.
If you go that way, you can tip the trike all the way on it's side and take the cover off.
You can just pour the oil out the fill hole,
take the cover off and see what's going on.

There are a bunch of parts that just sit there and come right off
with your fingers so take a picture or find the manual on here
because it can be real confusing.

You'll see the other end of the adjuster screw coming thru the case.
I did have one that turned with the locknut and no way around it.
It's like they were welded together and crossthreaded in the case
but it stayed where I adjusted it to so I left it alone.
