i had to move to cranbrook there is no work left in osoyoos to many people and the orchards and vinyards save money by importing workers from mexico and the goverment pays part of there wage our tax dollers at work taking peoples jobs in a town with a 45% unemployment rate my buddy with my old 350x and a 250r still lives there but he has to work in the yukon the company i roofed for for 4 years may even die out our fruit packing plant that around 200 people work at is going to close in 2014 and my old high school will close soon too i loved living there theres great riding but you gotta go where the work is

if your going to be there that long i come to town every once in a while just make shure you dont ride on the east side of town without a indian they will beat your ass trust me they have done it before i always wanted to ride there but on the other side there are alot of trails and a few realy cool hidden spots one has a old gold mine its ilegal to ride there but theres no one that could catch you there its about 10km up a road only i have been up in the last decade its realy rough and i dont know any one under 40 thats even seen it other than me there used to be a insane gold mine right near town but the filled it up not a second thought about desroying history i personaly cost them alot of cash sawzall vs hydralic lines someone also burnt down a dump truck and one of there workers got beat by a few high school kids alot of people were very pissed off
