Quick glamis help please

I found myself in san diego for a week of vacation. I am from MA and it has been a life long dream to see glamis and ride an atc there. i can remember when i was 14 yrs old with a 200x looking at the magazines and wishing I lived in Socal. Well i cant rent a three wheeler anymore but her is my dilema, maybe someone can help. I am here until Friday, I wanted to get up early and make the 2.5 hr drive to glamis, but will there be any vendors there midweek to rent me anything, Im not being picky. I tried to rent from someone local in San Diego and he did not want to unless there were more people going. I am going solo, I have brought all my riding gear but have no atv. Does anyone have any rental advice? I would hate to get there and not be able to rent something. Thanks in advance

Try to find someone local to go ride with you. Glamis is NOT a place to go solo. You can get in over your head very quickly. Wish I was closer, but hopefully someone on the boards here can hook up with you.

I figured if renting something midweek was possible then i could mull around a bit until i found someone or group of people to tag along with. Does all the riding happen only on the weekends or can vendors be found weds or thursday?

Never ride the dunes alone. Especially if you've never done it before.

wow . you probably won't find much as far as rentals mid week,, but its worth the drive out to the glamis store and check it out,,, to bad you didn't give a coupole of weeks notice,,, i might have been able to make something happen for you,,,,,,,,

Well i found a place called Jet rent to rent a 450. Im looking at going tomorrow or the next (wed or thursday) i wil be going alone with hopes of hooking up with anyone I can find there. I should be ready to ride by 10 am. Id be willing to to pay one of you guys with glamis experience to guide me for the day. If someone wants to take the day off i
