Glad to hear your ok. That's why I never like riding with anyone, even if I'm just riding shotgun..not much of a fan of putting my life in someone else's hands. I usually always drive, whether they like it or not...

yeah, for now on im going to drive as much as possible.
and i will never drive with anyone i dont know.
I am soooo upset now.
I guess the driver and others are telling people the reason why we crashed was because the rear drivers side tire fell off. The tire did fall off but it came off during the crash.
The reason we crash was purely because she took the turn too fast. theres no way we crashed because of a tire falling off. either way if the tire came off or not the speed of the turn was so fast that keeping that blazer on the road would not have been possible.
now i know why shes doing this, her best friend in the hospital with a broken neck (who is going to be ok, thank god) and feels so horrible that when someone purposed that maybe the tire fell off and it wasn't her fault she probably agreed to make herself look better.
I was there and know what happened, we were all making comments on how fast she was going and as we approached the turn i said slow down this turn is sharper then the last. at that point she had little time to react.
I just dont like how this is being covered up, people tell me to keep my mouth shut and be happy (and i probably will) but it disgusts me. cover ups are horrible.
If anyone asks,,tell the truth. That's all you can do. And you owe it to doing the right thing,,and especially,,the injured victims family. Hope you're not TOO sore!! lol,,,you hurt places you didn't even know existed don't you!?
Please help those who cannot help themselves.

Gun laws do not stop criminals. BULLETS do.
I am actually going to the doctors tomorrow for xrays, going to the orthopedic that fixed my back when i crashed by 400ex and who also fixed my back for the scoliosis.
Hopefully im fine and just sore as F$@&!!! but since i do have two 12 inch rods in there I should get it looked at.
and yes i plan on telling the truth to anyone who asks and anyone who matters. But ill keep quiet so i dont start a big thing.

I am one of those drivers that was responsible for another passenger's injury. In my case, it was 8:45am, sunny (2005) and I was driving responsible. I was in a work vehicle, going 55-60 on a 4 lane highway with a median and yeilding cross traffic. I was in the right lane and apparently a white extended ford van is not visible because the guy crossed the oncoming 2 lanes to get to the median, slowed down a little then kept coming. My immediate reaction was to swerve into him (suburban) to avoid a side t-bone into me. The front corner took the hit. The van flipped end over end and took out a telephone pole 8 feet in the air, rolled twice into a deep ditch. The passenger shattered his arm between the shoulder and elbow. We were on lying sideways so I told the passenger I was gonna jump out cause I was hanging from my seatbelt and he was below me. I crawled out and jumped out of the shattered window about 10 feet to find that my kneecap was broken in half... But the seatbelts saved us! The van was totaled, and the footwell/ leg area was crushed closed, I dont know how I got my legs out on time. I think I balled up? The passenger had a bunch of surgeries and was off for like a year. He quit shortly after that, but I know he was not doing great with that arm. I had 2 surgeries and was back working in 3 months. 3 years later in an insurance meeting my boss blamed me for high insurance rates in front of our whole company...Ungreatful S.o.B... So I quit 2 years ago. Long story short we are all still alive and so are you and your friends.

I just spent 4 hours in a deposition.
That's where lawyers ask questions and someone records it all.
3 and a half of those hours were about where I went to High School,
and everything except what I knew about an accident I witnessed.
Well, the last 12 minutes were about the case....2 freakin' years later.
It's all a witch hunt and the lawyers need the income so they'll twist and turn
any and everything...and tell you not to talk to ANYone about the case.
Everyone's trying to stay cool and grateful but when the aches and pains don't go away,
financial hardships appear, the lawyers grow fangs.
Support for PTSD is probably the closest / best info for everyone.
(post traumatic stress)
These are life altering events.
We can only hope to learn and grow and appreciate damnnear every minute of every day.
Hopefully the vehicle and parts are still intact for someone to check out.
I had a case where the junkyard guy took the steering wheel off and the
brake pedal rubber and lo and behold,
a year later, they were able to prove who was driving.
Do what you can to take care of your self and hopefully it will all fade into a distant memory.
Good luck with the imaging on the rods and screws.
Those things are bulletproof after a short healing time.
Very glad to hear you are all basically okay (or will be soon).
It’s two and a half years since my son (Slothminx on here) and daughter were in a head-on which killed Will and broke Steph’s skull and spine.
They were not going fast - maybe 35 mph at the most and probably less. The car they hit was going faster maybe 60 - 70. No one knows exactly why or how it happened but there was truck involved and he drove off without stopping. Police couldn’t prove anything though.
Every day is bad now. Steph has some titanium in her head and has been going to one specialist after another as it has affected her memory span and cognitive ability and eyesight, amongst other things. But it’s the psychological damage that really screws us up.
Try to avoid blaming the driver. It’s not good for anyone, the anger is so destructive. Try to offer support instead - she didn’t intend to crash or hurt anyone and it will do you good to forgive her if you can. (Maybe you already have?)

turns out om fine, my rib cage at the bottom left corner is cracked but is fine i just need to take it easy. luckily my spine and all the hardware in their held up just fine.
A couple months back I came about two inches from being a new radiator on a Ford Superduty wrecker pulling a car. I was in the back of a small truck with two friends, stopped in the left lane of a four lane highway(72 for any who know it) waiting on an incoming car to pass to turn off to the left. Visibility behind us was clear for atleat 600 feet, and I hear screaching tires to see a huge wrecker with his brakes locked trying to avoid rear ending us. He was probably doing 80+ when he passed us, missing small little Dakota I was in by about 2", and taking off the passenger mirror. If he had of hit us, I would have been first to take the impact, and would have taken a large metal safe that was in the bed to the back of the head. The driver of the wrecker obviously wasn't paying attention.
Sometimes, it's best to simply be glad everyone's alive, wounds heal, but a life can never be patched up.
Although, it's also bad to try and lie to everyone just to cover your own ass, and lying about it for that person is just as bad as if you yourself were the one deceiving everyone.
This is my trike. There are many like it but this one is mine. My trike is my best friend, and it is my life. I must master it as I must master myself. My trike without me is useless. Without my trike, I am useless. I must ride my trike true. My trike and I know that what counts is not the amount of miles we ride, but the time we ride together. My trike is human in it's own ways, therefore I will learn it as my brother. I will learn it's weaknesses, it's strengths, it's parts, and it's soul.
not a funny thread, but man fabs, i was just rolling!! thanks for that link!
MY FEEDBACK THREAD- http://www.3wheelerworld.com/showthr...ight=aldochina
About five years ago I was driving away from the house on the backroads to return a movie, I remember the first four miles or so, then blackness, then two headlights and swerving into a ditch/tree. Don't know who ran me off the road, or if im just remembering the flash of impact. Three miles between blank and wreck, so I didn't fall asleep.
Airbag deployed driving my arm into my chest and fist into my collarbone. Steering wheel pushed me through front seat, and broke seatbelt off at the hook. Climbed out without a scratch and was slipping in and out of consciousness/shock while standing waiting for my cousin. Never once stopped standing.
Don't advise it. Have I slowed down, yeah. But I was actually doing 20 below the speedlimit that night as I was trying to save gas.
No doctor, just bruises to skin muscle and bone. No one will EVER punch me as hard as I punched myself, and that's a fact. Being fat saved my life. Guaranteed. Best part is I'll still have moments where I have to look around to make sure I'm awake, just get a feeling like I might actually be dreaming. And while I used to be able to sleep through anything, now any movement at all in the room I'm in wakes me up. If my fiancée moves at all, I wake up, survey the room and go back to sleep. At least no one cane ever break in I guess....

Glad you and friends are OK. I get nervous as hell when someone else is driving, I've seen enough of my friends crash. I have gotten out of a couple cars and a boat cause the driver sucked.
