    1973 atc 70

    Picked up a 1973 ATC 70 yesterday. Everything appears to be original including the flames on the tank and silver forks. The recoil is missing the dogs and spring assembly. I did some research on the forum and noticed there is a difference in the recoil years. I do have a 83 and 84 ATC70. Would the recoil those machines use work on a 73? I would like to verify prior to trying and avoiding any damage. Also are the dogs and spring assembly from newer 70's work on this recoil?

    THE early housing are shallow and the later won't work.. but the parts will fit..
