Do you mean 87 LT500R? Thats the first year. I would do the trade for that Lonestar quad for sure.

I agree. That Lonestar chassis costs more new than your whole 'Zilla is worth. And it's alot better chassis for racing. Keepin in mind this comes from a person who has never raced on an MX track....

I believe you'd have to run in the open class at the nationals since the ''normal'' classes are for production bikes only.

    Just keep that in mind.

Anyone can race a national, so saying you race in the natioals don't mean to much.

Hybrids, when done right, make excellent race quads. my Lonestar 426 will murder a stock or close to stock factory 450

well first off i have built and raced a few hybrid's i had a roll chasis with a yz426 motor and i had a 01 400ex with a prototype aluminum frame and a crf 450 motor that even the yfz's and hondas when they first came out coultnt touch. so side by side if its built corectly ther eisnt much that would touch a well built hybrid. and on the lt500 sometimes the raw power isnt what you need its to be able to get it to the ground and make it handle. thats whjy i traded my 90 lt 500 for a project 06 450r.
    ok here goes, 85 atc70,2 84 atc70's 83 alt50,83 atc110 , 70 us 90 parot green, 85/86 350x garage queen, stock rider 85 350x, project 85 350x 85 250r drag bike, 2 85 250sx's, alt185, , scat tracker?99blaster,85 250r rider,85 250r ice racer project ,93 kx500,99 xr200r, 91 dr250s ,89 lt500 quadzilla,88 lt250quadracer, 88 trx250r race full on race quad,, 01 yamahakodiak400, kawaki kd100,lt50 for my doughters,93 300ex, 230 quadsport, lt185, lt250 quadrunner,84200s, is that enough?
