    Well, its good for xmas.
Here is the new brake and bearing installed. Got this from ODDATV1 on ebay, good parts.

Cracked (in half) 81 250r fenders, someone already built a flat steel frame underneath to hold 'em together.

    Now to the finished pics

Crap - this thread got my Odyssey jones all worked up and there's a decent one for sale locally...

I think my wife would kill me, slowly, with paper cuts, salt and lemon juice if I brought this home on Christmas Eve...

hmm... $400? very good price IMO, but the "just needs a tune" following the "not running" has me curious about what's really wrong with it. :
    74 HONDA ATC 70
    85 HONDA 125M (undergoing surgery)
85 YAMAHA YT60 red w/yellow trim (sold, still in the family)

"What the f*** are you doing Bill? The racetrack is no place for snacks and fancy cakes....
I'll have a Custard Cream if your asking."

By the way jb2wheels, that 83 Ody would look great under the tree. Those fenders alone are worth 225 new.

Oh I know - I've done the math in my head. Even not running (always risky) it's a good price.

About once a year I go through this (find a decent deal on an old Odyssey) and talk myself out of it. Usually the storage and transportation issues are the deciding factor. It would have to be stored outside. And I would have to get a small trailer to haul it otherwise I have to pull the cage off to get it in the van and if it's in the van the trikes aren't.

Storing it outside ends up being the dealbreaker - I hate leaving soemthing exposed like that.

Of course, if the ad is still up next week...
