    Cheap atc but what the heck is it ?

    Going through craigslist today and found this , has a price tag of 200 obo on it but i have not called him Yet. What do you guys think it is ? He says its a honda and also adds that he has no idea how to start it . Looks like a street bike motor to me , Has gauges on the handlebars.

    Floorboards and tank make it look like a Polaris, but the rear fenders are throwing me off and that id definitely not a Polaris motor, looks like a transplanted street bike 4 stroke of some kind from the down swept exhaust, lloks like the seat came from the engine donor as well...

    It looks like a scrambler frame and rear fender, front end looks like a 225dx/dr which scrambler did run, a streetbkle motor w a big red or 250sx tank.. im curious how they did the chain / swinger pivot w/o the polaris trans pivot point.

    If it is a Scrambler you could probably make a very nice return by parting it out to the lucky folks that have one. It has already been hacked up any ways. Might even be able to beat the guy down to $100

    gotta be a home made job. probably some hacked up frame a guy welded/made bolts for the foot pans and just gathered parts and threw it together. note how he doesnt know how to start it it might be missing a starter. or maybe he didnt notice a kicker that pulls out? who knows. for 200$(maybe try and haggle him a bit if not oh well) snatch that up. you couldnt lose money on it thats for sure.

    thats exactly what it is... i personally think its nothing but a headache. if you could grab it for $50.00 then with some work your bound to make your money back. lets face it, its not covered wilh highly sought after pieces... most of the crap piled together than can be had fairly cheap anywhere...

    Appears to be a streetbike conversion of some type from the exhaust and stator cover? I think you can see the 2 gauges on the bars as well?? May be a dangerous hand built handful of fun?? lol
