Its way too damn hot for december!

Its less than 2 weeks from christmas and I have been having 60+ degree weather out! we haven't even hit a high of 32 yet this season! Its crazy. Anyone else wondering what the balls is going on? Last year it was less than freezing from mid october to early march. No warm days last season at all! We even had a week of 16-20 degree weather last season. Maybe the world will roast alive in 2012?

LOL! It seems as though winter has a different personality every year. I live in northern NYS, (Lake effect snow country). So far this season we have only had about 6 inches of snow fall in my area, and that was back in november and long gone at this point. The snowmobile trails have been officially open now for 2 weeks, but no snow to ride on! I remember Thanksgivings in the past where we had a foot of snow, and on the other hand I can remember years where we barely had a white Christmas....Ah, the ebb and flow of the weather.....

We can still go swimming here in MN... Take a chainsaw, cut a hole in the ice, and take a dip... Called a polar plunge....

Mayans were right, end of the world next year. expect it to rain fire soon....

here in NJ we got blasted with a snowstorm in october, then 65 degrees, then freezing again only to get warm the next week.

last week of November my flagpole snapped in half due to the flag freezing in the rain (rained when I was sleeping) and then we had 60 degree days throughout December sprinkled here and there with freezing temps.
At this rate, i don't think I'll winterize my motorcycle.

Here in Northeast Michigan we have received the least amount of snow so far this year since they started keeping records in 1916. We have had 2 tenths of an inch in Alpena. I love it.

I would be ok without all the snow... As long as the lakes freeze soid enough to go rip the BR and 70 around for a couple days...

We only got one measurable snofall this year and it was 1/4". Just enough so we would not get the all time record Since 1916 for latest snowfall date. Today was the old record and while it is 32 degrees outside right now the sky is blue and clear. It is actually supposed to get warmer for the next couple of days. I keep thanking my neighbor, he went out and bought a new snow blower the week before Halloween. At this rate he wont be using it until next winter (I Hope) I havwe actually been wanting some snow to play in...

It went from being in the high 20s in the morning, to 60 degrees at 5:30AM yesterday. It's been crazy!!! And it didn't even start getting cold until late November.
This is my trike. There are many like it but this one is mine. My trike is my best friend, and it is my life. I must master it as I must master myself. My trike without me is useless. Without my trike, I am useless. I must ride my trike true. My trike and I know that what counts is not the amount of miles we ride, but the time we ride together. My trike is human in it's own ways, therefore I will learn it as my brother. I will learn it's weaknesses, it's strengths, it's parts, and it's soul.

It was like 73 here today in central NC, and right now at about 9:15pm its about 55-60. Keep in mind it gets dark at 5pm here now. This is ricockulous! Hell, I just got a golf cart and am dropping a motorcycle engine in that that for some sand drag racing. Yeah, its that warm out.
